The competition invites students under the age of 26 to participate in five different disciplines for the titles of:
a. Best Culinary student in Mauritius
b. Best Pastry Chef in Mauritius
c. Best sommelier in Mauritius
d. Best Maitre d'hotel in Mauritius
e. Best Mixologist in Mauritius.
The final round determines a winner for each category, culminating in an award for the institution with the most titles and the trophy for the best gastronomy and catering educational institution in Mauritius.
